Process Design & FEA Simulations Stamping processes are expertly designed and further optimized by means of virtual try-outs on simulation sofware. The accurate interpretation of the simulation results enable us to eficiently optimize the die faces and resolve any problem areas early in the design phase of the project. Our customers can thus start their manufacturing process with maximum confidence! Try-out simulations are based on either the component geometry for early feasibility or on the tool surface/die face data, taking blank holder forces, drawbeads, and or pressure pads into account for improved reliability. We are also capable of performing virtual try-outs of trimming dies to determine the optimum trim and blank outlines. Our Forming Simulation Reports include the accurate prediction of areas of concern such as wrinkling, splits, excessive thinning and thickening. We can also predict springback and compensate the die face geometry to suit. Simulations can also be done on our customers supplied process surface data files at their request. |
